Booking

How do I book a handyman?

Call 778-513-6297 or send your list through the free estimate form. We’ll call you back to go through it and book a time.

When are you available?

We take calls and book visits Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm. Tell us how soon you need the work done and we’ll find the earliest time that works.

Should I send photos?

Photos help, especially for drywall damage, sticking doors and decks. Mention in your form that you have photos and we’ll tell you where to send them when we call.

Pricing

How much do you charge?

We don’t publish rates online, because every list is different. We give you a free estimate once we understand the jobs. Our pricing guide explains what affects the cost of handyman work.

Is the estimate free?

Yes. There’s no charge and no obligation for an estimate.

How can I get more done per visit?

Group jobs together. One visit for ten small jobs costs far less than ten separate visits, and you only have to be home once.

The work

What don’t you do?

We don’t do electrical, gas or plumbing work. Those trades need a licensed specialist, and we’re happy to tell you when a job on your list needs one. We also don’t do full renovations; our focus is repairs, installations and small carpentry.

Do you bring materials?

We bring our tools and common supplies like fasteners, compound, caulk and primer. For things like paint colours, door hardware or a TV bracket, we can use what you’ve bought or pick up what you choose.

Do you clean up afterwards?

Yes. We protect floors and furniture while we work and clean up before we leave. Dust from sanding is contained and vacuumed.

Condos & rentals

Do you work in strata buildings?

Yes. Many Burnaby buildings ask for elevator bookings, set quiet hours and want common areas protected. We follow the building’s rules. Your strata or property manager can tell you what notice your building needs.

Can you get a rental ready between tenants?

Yes. Patching nail holes, touching up paint, fixing doors and hardware, re-caulking and small repairs are our most common move-out jobs. See the move-out repair checklist.

Can a tenant book you?

Yes, but check with your landlord first for anything that changes the unit, like mounting a TV or painting. Many tenancy agreements require permission.
