Handyman in Burnaby

Burnaby’s Handyman for the Whole List, Not Just One Job

We help homeowners, renters and landlords across Burnaby with all of their home repair and handyman needs. Most people don’t call about one thing. They call about the list on the fridge: the hole behind the bedroom door, the TV that still isn’t on the wall, the wardrobe in its box, the bathroom door that won’t latch, the scuffed hallway and the soft board on the back deck.

That list is what we’re built for. Tell us everything on it and we’ll plan one visit to work through as much as we can, in the right order. Drywall gets patched first so it can dry while we hang shelves and fix doors. Paint goes on once the compound is sanded. By the end of the visit, the list is shorter and the place is clean.

We work in condos and townhouses from Metrotown to Lougheed, and in older houses from Burnaby Heights to South Slope. Some jobs take ten minutes and some take an afternoon. All of them get the same care.

  • Patch drywall
  • Mount a TV
  • Hang shelves
  • Build a wardrobe
  • Fix a sticking door
  • Replace baseboards

  • Re-caulk the shower
  • Fix a fence gate
  • Replace deck boards
  • Install grab bars

One visit, many jobs

Why One Longer Visit Beats Five Short Ones

Every visit has the same fixed parts: getting there, parking, carrying tools in, setting up drop cloths, and cleaning up at the end. In a tower, add the elevator booking. Those parts take the same time whether we fix one thing or ten.

So the best way to use a handyman is to save up the small jobs and book them together. It’s less disruption for you, you only have to be home once, and the work flows better, because jobs that need drying time can overlap with jobs that don’t.

  • Write everything down, even the two-minute jobs
  • Add photos if something is hard to describe
  • Tell us about building rules when you book

Moving in, moving out

Setting Up a New Place, or Handing One Back

Moving is when lists get long fast. Coming in, it’s furniture to build, TVs and shelves to hang, curtain rods and blinds, and a few things the last owners left behind. Going out, it’s nail holes, scuffs, a door that took a knock on moving day and a tub that needs fresh caulk before the inspection.

We do both, in condos, townhouses and houses across Burnaby, and we time it around your move and your building’s elevator booking.

FAQ

Handyman Services Burnaby: Common Questions

What kind of jobs does a handyman do?

We handle the repairs, installs and small carpentry jobs that keep a home working: drywall and ceiling repair, TV mounting and installations, furniture assembly, doors and trim, interior painting, and deck, fence and exterior repairs, including caulking and weatherstripping.

How much does a handyman cost in Burnaby?

It depends on the jobs, how long they take and the materials. We don’t publish rates; instead, send us your list and we’ll give you a free estimate. Booking several jobs in one visit is the best way to get more done for your money. Our pricing guide explains how handyman pricing usually works.

Can you do several small jobs in one visit?

Yes, and we’d rather you did. Send the whole list. We’ll confirm what fits in one visit and plan the order so the work flows, like patching drywall first, then painting once the compound is dry.

Do you work in condos and strata buildings?

Yes. We work in towers and townhouse complexes across Burnaby and follow the building’s rules for elevator bookings, working hours and protecting common areas. Check with your strata or property manager if your building needs notice before work.

Is there anything you don’t do?

We don’t do electrical, gas or plumbing work. Those trades need a licensed specialist, and we’re happy to tell you when a job on your list needs one. We also don’t take on full renovations.

What areas do you serve?

All of Burnaby, from Metrotown and Brentwood to Capitol Hill, Edmonds and Burnaby Mountain, plus Vancouver, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Richmond and Surrey. See all service areas.
